Daks, Wesley, Jordan, and I were at the swimming pool for about an hour. Wesley and Daks were trying to coax me to get into the pool, but I refused because there were a lot of people in the water; it was very warm. Daks and Wesley decided to splash me. After I was streaked with water multiple times, they gave up. Because I was already soaked with water from head to toe, I decided to go into the swimming pool.
Then a kid jumped into the pool. This encouraged other kids to jump in too. I told Wesley not to do any stunts while jumping in the pool and when I looked away, he attempted to do a backflip. Instead of landing in the water, his head hit a ledge.
Daks ran up to Wesley and tried to stop the blood from going into the water with his hands cupped under Wesley’s head. While they were making their way to the restroom, I explained to Mr. Proch what had happened. When we entered the restroom, we found paper towels soaked in blood. Mr. Proch then took Wesley to the hospital.
Later, we were on our way back to Kenny Lake. The bus driver stopped at Fred Meyers to wait for Mr. Proch and Wesley to come back from the hospital. I heard that Wesley was fine and didn’t have any major injuries, but he did get three stitches on his nose and maybe a slight concussion. I was glad to see that my friend Wesley was okay.
