We went for an exhilarating first ride; after a while Adrina and Buddy Richison went and then we took another turn. Kristi was on the left, Alexis on the right, and me in the middle. During those two rides, we preceded to stand up on a lengthy stretch with no curves or bumps to throw us off, fall off two to three times, and get a numerous amount of airs. All three of us managed to fall on one tight corner; dad was getting desperate to make us fall of. Since Alexis was on the edge she fell off first, I was second and Kristi last. We skipped across the water for a few seconds before stopping and floating with our life vests scrunched as far up as they would go. I remember screaming for a few seconds while floating and trying to swim away from icky seaweed, and also that I couldn’t get onto the tube… After that fall, we were all recouping on the tube after I finally climbed on and I lay on my back in the middle, Kristi and Alexis beside me on their stomachs. Before I knew what was happening, dad yelled to us while idling asking if we were ready. Kristi screamed back that we were, but of course I wasn’t. So with no time to fix Kristi’s mistake, dad started to go with me still on my back with nothing to hold onto but the air. I slid off the slippery tube, trying to grab onto to something before I fell, but it didn’t work. I splashed into the water screaming, “Wait!!!” I remember Kristi and Alexis looking back, laughing at me as I smiled along with them. As I floated waiting for dad to bring the tube around, he drove past and asked, “What happened?” I answered, “I was lying on my back and I couldn’t hold onto to anything when you went.” “Kristi said you were ready,” replied dad. “Obviously not,” I called as he drove on until the tube got to me. Of course he continued to slowly creep forward so I was being dragged underneath the tube trying to hoist myself up onto the tube. I laughed as Kristi and Alexis grabbed my life vest and pulled me up.
After that, many more airs lifted us up, a few more falls into the water; I remember being pushed by Kristi, and another time when I fell in front of the tube and couldn’t breathe for a few seconds. It was an awesome day!
Do you ever wonder why both eyes can look to your nose at the same time, but not away from your nose???
